From Technician to Vice President: Kevin's Journey in the Security Industry

Kevin is the Vice President of MPI Security Hawaii, where he oversees technical operations, customer service, installations, scheduling, and ordering to ensure every system meets the highest standards. As a Master Technician with years of hands-on experience in Security Cameras, Security Alarms, Fire Alarm Systems, Smart Home Security Systems, and Access Control Systems, he mentors technicians and helps shape the quality of service MPI Security Hawaii provides across the State of Hawaii, including the Big Island, Maui, Oahu, and Kauai.

Kevin’s career in security began early, inspired by his father, who owned multiple alarm companies and taught him both the technical side of security systems and the importance of personal, respectful customer service. Over the years, Kevin has served as General Manager, Lead Technician, and Sales Manager, building a deep understanding of how to design and deliver reliable security solutions before co-founding MPI Security Hawaii with his brother-in-law Peter—his proudest professional accomplishment .

He has led major security projects, opened a security branch on the Big Island of Hawaii, and helped expand MPI Security Hawaii’s reach throughout the islands by delivering dependable Security Cameras, Security Alarms, Fire Alarm Systems, and integrated Smart Home and Access Control solutions for both residential and commercial clients. His leadership and hands-on expertise continue to drive the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and customer-focused security across Hawaii.

Outside of work, Kevin is dedicated to his family and community. He and his wife are raising seven children, teaching them the values of hard work, perseverance, and integrity, while he also captains a championship-winning pool team at 808 Billiards, assistant-coaches two RBI baseball teams, and enjoys golfing, softball, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. He also treasures his weekly Awa' gatherings with friends, where he stays connected to the community he serves.
